Sharing this outdoor maternity session in Los Angeles, Santa Monica to be specific, here on the blog today! Truth be told, Im such a creature of habit and tend to shoot in the same locations within LA and OC for my outdoor maternity photography shoots- which is great knowing a location and its light so well- makes it easier to know cloudy or sunny what to expect. Within these locations, I also love watching the foliage change throughout the year, which actually delivers different results seasonally, and each so perfect in their own way. With all this rain in so cal, spring is in full bloom ( ...and so are my allergies, ha!) these tall grasses that will soon fade to gold come the summer heat are just all the feels right now. In studio we can tend to get a bit more lifestyle with that " at home" type feel, but still love bringing those lifestyle/natural elements to maternity and baby photography on location.  Here are some highlights from this maternity shoot, enjoy!
