FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Do you provide wardrobe?
-
Yes! Wardrobe and styling are central to the studio experience, embodying my distinct aesthetic. I've thoughtfully curated a collection of one-of-a-kind wardrobe pieces and textiles, perfectly aligned with my style, for clients to enjoy and enhance their session experience. Each session is an intimate composition, thoughtfully curated over the years to evoke soft, organic memories. Every piece—textile, garment and gown—has been selected to embrace the light, creating an effortless, romantic and modern atmosphere.
One of my favorite elements is the wardrobe, a collection I've lovingly built with a natural, modern yet intimate romantic look in mind. With options for every belly, baby, and embrace, the collection spans from XS to XL, and for little ones, up to size 3. ( at this time, wardrobe for men is not provided)
- Where is your studio located and what areas do you serve?
-
Nestled in the peaceful, coastal neighborhood of Alamitos Beach in Long Beach, my studio offers a serene and welcoming space, perfectly central for clients from both Los Angeles and Orange County. While many of my clients come from these areas, I often welcome families from as far as San Diego and San Francisco. No matter where you're located, the studio provides a calm, intimate environment for capturing your family's most cherished moments. You don’t need to be local to experience the beauty and care we create together.
- How would you describe your photography style?

I focus on simplicity and grace, using soft, natural light and gentle, thoughtful posing to create images that feel both timeless and authentic. Each moment is captured with a romantic yet minimal approach, allowing the genuine love and connection between you and your family to shine through. The result is a collection of fine art portraits that evoke emotion and beauty
- I'm not sure how to pose, and everyone on your site looks like a model!
-
The truth is, none of the families you see on my site are professional models, and everyone comes in with similar worries—“What do I do?” or “I’m a bit awkward, good luck!” I completely understand. From the moment you step into the studio, I’ll guide you with gentle direction, ensuring you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. You’ll never have to wonder where to stand, how to pose, or if everything looks just right—I’m here to take care of all those details. My goal is to make the experience as effortless and natural as the moments we capture together.
- When is the best time to book a session?
-
Newborn photography sessions are best reserved around 8 weeks before your due date to ensure a session reservation with me. Maternity, baby, and family sessions should be booked 6-8 weeks in advance, although I occasionally have openings for last-minute requests based on availability. Booking early helps secure a session that perfectly fits your family’s timeline and guarantees a relaxed, stress-free experience.
- How should I prepare my family for a maternity or newborn session?
-
There’s no need for over-preparation. I’ll provide you with a simple guide filled with calming tips. For maternity sessions, soft, flowing fabrics that move beautifully with your form work best. For newborn sessions, simple and comfortable is key. I’ll take care of all the details, so you can relax and immerse yourself in the experience.
- Can my partner and children be involved in a maternity or newborn session?
-
Yes, parents and siblings are encouraged to be part of the session, and there is no additional charge for their participation. This is a special time to capture your growing family, and I want to include everyone involved in this new chapter. However, I do limit family participation to immediate members—siblings and spouses. At this time, I do not offer extended family sessions (such as grandparents or cousins).
- Where do sessions take place?
-
Newborn, baby, and maternity sessions take place in my natural light studio, thoughtfully designed for your family's comfort and to create the soft, timeless images that define my work. I provide all materials and wardrobe to ensure an stress-free experience, allowing you to relax and enjoy each moment. Nesteled just a block from the ocean in Long Beach, my light-filled studio is perfectly positioned for families from Los Angeles and Orange County, offering a serene and welcoming environment. Maternity beach sessions are offered limited months of the year.
- How Long have you been a newborn and maternity photographer?
-
Although my photography journey began before discovering my passion for baby and children’s photography, I have been specializing in newborn and baby photography since 2011. For over 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in my own studio in Los Angeles, in a location central to my Los Angeles and Orange County clients.
