Here in southern California, we are coming up on summer which means beach maternity photography!! If you have done pictures with me at the beach, you know I only shoot at one beach in the Orange County and one in Los Angeles. Although I can work around surprises, I pretty much like to know what to expect lighting wise if its cloudy, overcast, etc.. what I can work with in each lighting situation, crowd wise, high/tide low tides, you might be now figuring out I am your typical type-A I like things organized and ready to go or not go type person! So it is these reasons ( plus a few others) that I like to shoot at the two same beaches that I feel give the best results. Beach maternity photography is pretty much the harshest of lighting if you don't shoot at the right times, there is only about a 20-30 minute window I actually enjoy shooting the beach backdrop at,  or at least the lighting that I like) so a location that has places to hide from the sun, and work with that bright light until it is just right at the beach is SUPER important ( to me!) I loved this shoot so much, I actually changed my main website picture for the first time in a few years to one from this shoot! Here are some pictures from this lovely mama's session, enjoy!!
