If you missed the window for newborn photography, the next best time for baby portraits is 3 months, hands down. I love this age for the time past newborn portraits, because the babies are still little and cuddly and still so new- yet meeting some new milestones that help ease the transition the session rather than if we did the session just 5 weeks prior. They aren't just yet that giggling rolly polly baby, but they are starting to come into their own! I do a lot of these natural style 100 day baby portraits in studio, and I realized I haven't shared one here on my blog! At this age, parents in pictures are key- it really helps the baby feel safe at this age, it helps a ton with posing, and just overall a good session with baby feeling good. I loved styling this beautiful mama, the dresses she wore really brought out that natural softness for this sweet stage, and the family pictures with this little guy- oooh, my fav!!
